Solaris
The moon takes the sun; Halo of light fills the sky; For a brief moment.
Solaris is a piece designed to imitate an eclipse and the feeling of fleeting alignment it creates. From one view, light is plainly visible- while from another view, light is pushed backwards and outwards.
The piece is made from hand-turned disks of pine plywood held together by a frosted acrylic tube filled with LED lights.
